Ksenia Kheninen

I am Ksenia Voy Kheninen (b. 1990), a Helsinki-based visual artist working primarily with sculpture. My practice explores memory, Otherness, and belonging through a material language shaped by my Inkeri-Karelian heritage, neurodivergence, and queerness. Originally trained in textile and design, I have worked intensively with ceramics for the past five years, combining porcelain, textiles, found objects, and text into tactile appearing, poetic assemblages. My work reflects on personal and collective histories, transforming emotional and social tensions into sculptural form. In 2025, I presented seven exhibitions across Finland, including two solo shows based on works developed between 2023 and 2025.
